Coach of the Year
Congratulations to Coach Mane for earning Coach of the year honors for the Big North American Division!
2014-2015 Boys Soccer
The 2014- 2015 Boys Varsity Soccer Team had a very productive year. The team went 10-5-3 overall, 6 - 1 - 1 in the league, 1 - 1 in the county, 1 - 1 in the state, and was undefeated at home.

The team started off the optional summer training playing in a 10 team summer league in which they finished first overall. This was a positive sign of things to come. They continued their success through the regular season by finishing in 2nd place in the Big North Conference, American Division. Broke an eight year win-less streak against rival Cliffside Park with a 1 - 0 victory over the defending Bergen County Champions, made The Record top 25 list of soccer teams in North Jersey, qualified for both the Bergen County soccer tournament and the NJSIAA state sectional tournament and winning its first ever county game in the school history to set up a meeting with the eventual Bergen County Champion Ramapo and being considered amongst the top 16 teams in the county.

A number of post-season honors were awarded to the team. Five players, seniors Paul Leale (Second Team All-County), Ryo Sugawara, Lenny Orenshur (Scholar-Athlete of the Year), juniors Mohamed Abdelhamid and Justin Picache, received First Team All-League, three players, senior Zack Wielcocz, junior Daniel Duarte, and sophomore Jared Bruso, received Second Team All-League and one player, senior Daniel Parra (Unsung Hero Award), received Honorable Mention All-League, and junior Benjamin Kern received the Bergen County Boys Soccer Coaches Association Busch Fan Of the Year Award. Head coach Demba Mane (Coach of the Year Award) and assistant coach Calogero Pagano instilled a "FAMILY" and "PASSION" mentality to the Fort Lee High School Soccer Program going "BACK TO BASICS" having each of the three levels dedicate themselves and play as a team and not as individuals.

The programís success this year was accredited to all three levels (Varsity, Junior-Varsity and Freshman). The future shows great promise. The Junior-Varsity team coached by Giovanni Soto, went 11-2 this season defeating nearly every team they played. They made it to the Junior-Varsity Bergen County Tournament Finals and gave a valiant effort throughout the entire season. The Freshman team, coached by Rex Flores, went 6-4 playing every game to the best of their abilities.

This was a solid season for the Bridgemen Soccer Program and the coaching staff would like to thank all of the players, parents and fans for all their constant hard work and dedication to the program. "GO BRIDGEMEN"!!

Congratulations Paul Leale!
Congratulations to Paul Leale Junior for a fantastic 2014 - 2015 soccer season. A returning 1st Team All League, Leale attacked the competition at a personal record setting rate scoring 16 goals in all competitions, 10 more then he had scored the previous year. An opportunistic forward with great balance, body control and can play with his back to the net, Leale netted in all the league matches, and the county and State tournaments.

One of the big goals he scored for the Bridgemen this season was his lone goal which defeated rival team Cliffside Park in 8th years. He also scored the winning goal which defeated Dwight - Englewood 2 - 1 in the first round of the counties to advanced the team to the round of 16 for the first time in school history. In addition, he scored and assisted on the winning goal which defeated Whippany Park 2 - 1 to advanced the team to the 2nd round of the states.

For his hard work and effort he received 1st Team All League 2nd Team All County honors. Also he joined that select group of Fort Lee High School soccer players who have earned All County Honors in the past.
